Irrigation 3 Week Online Course (15 Hours)

This practical course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to install, operate, maintain, and evaluate irrigation systems in agricultural production. It focuses on how effective irrigation supports optimal crop growth, efficient water use, and sustainable farming practices.

Learners will explore irrigation system installation, operational management, and maintenance procedures, as well as how to collect and analyse data to evaluate system performance. The course also covers how to apply irrigation data to improve water efficiency and crop yield.

By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to manage irrigation systems effectively and make informed decisions that enhance productivity while conserving water resources.

Available in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa and Sesotho.

On completion of the course you will receive a QCTO accredited certificate aligned to Unit Standard 116317 (NQF Level 4, Credits: 3).
