It connects farmers, traders, contractors, and businesses on one secure platform where quality farm and construction-related assets can be bought and sold efficiently.

Assets commonly listed include farm machinery, implements, tools, vehicles and trailers, livestock, livestock equipment, irrigation and handling equipment, as well as selected construction equipment and building materials used on farms, smallholdings, and worksites.

The platform makes it easier to reach serious buyers nationwide without the limitations of local advertising.

2. How do I get started?

Getting started is simple:

• Browse active auctions directly on the website.
• View detailed lot descriptions, specifications, and clear images.
• Follow the prompts on the platform to place bids or submit a listing.
• Complete any required verification steps to support a secure transaction environment.

3. How do reserve prices work?

A reserve price is the minimum amount a seller is willing to accept for an item.

• Bidding may take place below the reserve price during the auction.
• The lot will only be sold if bidding meets or exceeds the reserve price before closing, or if the seller chooses to accept a lower bid after the auction ends.

If the reserve is not met and no lower offer is accepted, the lot will not be sold.

4. How do auctions work?

Agri Auctions operates on a timed online auction system:

• Lots are listed with a fixed opening and closing time.
• Buyers place bids during the live auction period.
• Each new bid must be higher than the previous bid.
• Each new bid must increase by a minimum of R50.
• The initial bid must be at least 40% of the reserve price.

5. How do I list my lot?

• Upload clear photos from multiple angles (including keytags and labels), complete a detailed description, set your reserve price, and submit your listing for review and approval.

Yes. The platform follows verification procedures and monitors auction activity to protect both buyers and sellers.

We act as a middleman. Payment is made to us and we release payment to the seller once the buyer has received the item.
