Sheep & Goats 3 Week Online Course (15 Hours)

This practical course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to manage small stock farming systems effectively within the South African agricultural environment. It focuses on the full production cycle, including breed selection, nutrition, health management, and production outputs.

Learners will explore feeding strategies, veld management, breeding systems, and biosecurity practices. The course also covers infrastructure planning, animal handling, and business management principles required for sustainable operations. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to manage sheep and goat farming enterprises efficiently and profitably.

Available in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa and Sesotho.

On completion of the course you will receive a QCTO accredited certificate aligned to multiple Unit Standards at NQF Level 4 (including: 116288, 116285, 116301, 116274, 116216, 116219).
