Poultry Production 3 Week Online Course (15 Hours)

This practical course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to start and manage a successful poultry farming business in South Africa. It covers both the operational and business aspects of poultry production, preparing learners to work effectively in commercial or small-scale environments.

Learners will explore key areas such as poultry health, disease control, housing systems, nutrition, and daily farm operations. The course also includes essential management components such as team leadership, business planning, and personnel management to support efficient farm operations.

Aligned with the Occupational Certificate: Poultry Farmer, the course ensures learners gain relevant, industry-ready skills.

By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to manage poultry production systems, maintain flock health, and operate a sustainable poultry business.

Available in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa and Sesotho.

On completion of the course you will receive a QCTO accredited certificate aligned to the Occupational Certificate: Poultry Farmer (NQF Level 4, ID 99027).
