This practical course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to develop and implement effective harvesting plans for agricultural crops. It focuses on ensuring crop quality, reducing post-harvest losses, and improving overall farm productivity. Learners will explore the key components of a harvesting plan, including timing, crop handling procedures, and storage considerations. The course also covers workflow management and strategies to optimise harvesting operations. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to manage harvesting processes efficiently while maintaining crop quality from field to storage.

On completion of the course you will receive a QCTO accredited certificate aligned to Unit Standard 116297 (NQF Level 4, Credits: 3).
