Pig Production 3 Week Online Course (15 Hours)

This course will teach you to identify commercial and hybrid pig breeds, how to recognize the significance of breeding systems and how to apply proper nutritional requirements. Implementing effective feeding regimes, understanding suitable pig housing, the management of breeding stock and litters, the handling of pig fattening and management, the identification and treatment of diseases and the economic aspect of pig production.

Available in English, Afrikaans, Portuguese, Sesotho, Shona, Xhosa and Zulu.

On completion of the course you will receive an AgriSETA accredited certificate.
